Hello! I'm Mai, and I've been teaching Thai since 2015. Over the years, I've worked with students from many different countries, so I understand the common challenges they face when learning Thai. My goal is to help you overcome those obstacles and strengthen your language skills.
As a teacher, my approach is friendly and relaxed, as if I'm teaching a close friend. COURSE CONTENT
The course is designed for English speakers. Because English and Thai are very different languages, I explain things in English for most of the course so that you can understand the main concepts more easily, and the transition to Thai is smoother and easier to understand.
No previous knowledge of the language is required.
The beginner's course is designed for those who are starting from scratch, which is why it starts from the absolute basics. However, the course is also perfect for advanced beginners, as the difficulty of the lessons will gradually increase.

MODULE 1 & 2
We’ll begin with the essentials: understanding Thai tones, vowels, and pronunciation. You’ll also learn how to greet others with "sàwàdii," introduce yourself, ask "How are you?" and "Where are you from?" By the end, you’ll be comfortable with basic expressions and polite conversations, along with a recap and quiz to test your progress.
MODULE 3 & 4
In these modules, you'll explore how to ask questions like “What are you doing?” and talk about daily activities. You’ll also dive into numbers from 0 to 1,000,000 and learn phrases for getting to know someone. This will give you the confidence to engage in conversations that require basic verbs and numerical skills.
MODULE 5 & 6
Ordering food at a restaurant or navigating a Thai shop will be simple after these modules. You’ll learn how to order food and drinks, talk about meat and other ingredients, and use the right phrases when shopping for various items, including colors. These modules will prepare you for everyday interactions at restaurants and markets.
MODULE 7 & 8
We’ll cover how to ask about and talk about time, weeks, months, daily activities, and more. You’ll also master asking for directions and describing places. Whether you’re exploring a city or discussing schedules, these modules will equip you with the necessary vocabulary and phrases to navigate smoothly in Thai.
MODULE 9
In the final module, you'll master transportation vocabulary and useful phrases for asking how to get somewhere, renting vehicles, and making reservations. You'll be equipped to handle travel conversations with ease.
COURSE STRUCTURE

The courses are divided into several sections, containing the more than 30 video lessons and exercises. I recommend watching the sessions in order, as the courses offer a sequential and logical learning path.
Remember that you can always go back and watch the lessons as often as needed.
